The second Sunday of May is coming up! We know we love our mothers and each of us loves to see our mom happy. So here are a few ideas to help you figure out something for Mother’s Day.

Mirror

Mirror calls itself “the nearly invisible home gym.” If you’ve never heard of anything like it before, you’d be forgiven if all it did was catch your eye for being a sleek, dark mirror and a home accent.

Turn it on and you’ll find this interactive mirror gives you access to 50+ workout genres, including (just to name a few) stretch, yoga, meditation, barre, strength, Pilates, and cardio. There are live classes daily but also thousands of on-demand classes. Programs cover beginner to expert levels and range from 5- to 60-minute classes.

If you’re as excited to try this out as I think you are, Mirror has generously offered my followers a great deal with code ISABELLAT. This gives you $150 off the product AND free shipping and installation ($250), to give you a total of $400 savings.

Moms everywhere deserve the time and fun for physical fitness. So whether the mom you know is struggling to carve out the time to leave the house or is the type who regrets that she can’t have membership to all the types of fitness studios in the world, the Mirror could be one of the most exciting gifts she gets this year.

Even if maybe you think your mom already works out a lot, chances are she can find something complementary in the Mirror. Those of you who’ve been following me know that working out has never been an issue for me, as I get up at 4:30 a.m. five days a week to workout at 5:00. But I never give myself the time to properly stretch and allow my body to recover.

Since getting the Mirror, I’ve set a goal to do a fifteen-minute stretch class at least three days a week. I’ve noticed a huge difference in my flexibility, I’ve gotten fewer migraines, and had less joint soreness, which, quite frankly, had all been my normal.

Noni Design — the “VASANTI” cuff

When you look over Noni Design’s collections, you’ll notice two main inspirations: One is nature, and designs take inspiration from lily pads, tree mushrooms, barnacles, and seed pods, among others.

The other is architecture, which is what designer Colleen Alford completed her bachelor’s degree in at the Rhode Island School of Design. Her pieces have a pleasing sculptural and  geometric look to them.

The Vasanti cuff was named after Sanskrit word for “spring.” Have a closer look at it, and you’ll notice the piece takes the form of a slender leaf that wraps around your wrist and smaller rounded forms clustered on one end, like young leaves at the tips of branches. I had so much fun channeling my inner Wonder Woman with this gorgeous piece of arm candy on my wrist!

This piece is crafted from recycled brass (a common practice with brass, which allows the industry to stay sustainable and more environmentally friendly than gold and silver) and is available in gold finish. I had so much fun channeling my inner Wonder Woman with this gorgeous piece of arm candy on my wrist!

Only a limited number of these are still available though, so if you’re thinking about gifting this statement bracelet to the Wonder Woman you look up to, best to move quickly.

Freida Rothman

My last blog post featured Freida Rothman and her Woman of Strength campaign in depth. But for those of you new to this inspiring woman, Freida is a second-generation jeweler who credits her grandparents, all Holocaust survivors, with so much of the kind of person she is.

Her designs take inspiration from the environment of Brooklyn, which became the place where her grandparents got a second chance in life. Her Woman of Strength campaign launched last year, and paid tribute to female Holocaust survivors. This year’s edition pays homage to women in the military, whose commitment to service runs deep and strong even in the face of formidable challenges.

Freida’s signature styles include pavé (French for “paving,” and refers to setting small gemstones close together along the surface of a piece of jewelry) and stacking, both bracelets and rings.

If you’d like to treat the woman of strength in your life, those of you shopping on Freida Rothman’s site can use either of my codes below to receive an additional gift with your purchase:

·       FRISABELLA295 — receive their bestselling Arrow Station Ring in gold/black or silver/black with your order of $295 or more

·       FRISABELLA495 — receive the Pavé Oval Disc Necklace in gold or black/gold with your order of $495 or more

Modus Rio

You might be noticing a pattern, but I love that Modus Rio is another woman-owned small business. The brand’s name translates as “Rio fashion,” is part of New York-based Brazilian designer Sara Taublib’s way of promoting Brazilian style in the international fashion scene. The luxury brand sources all its materials from her home country, while local artisans likewise execute the brand’s handbags in Rio de Janeiro.

“Adrian” clutch in white

Their bags are beautifully crafted with linen and leather materials. The Adrian clutch is both chic and functional.  It is light and holds all the essentials, like keys, credit cards, glasses, and cell phone.

It comes in eight different variations. Five are linen and leather, like most of their bags, and have a lighter appearance. Three are wool blend and leather and come in darker colors.

I have the linen with white leather trim which is so “summery” and the perfect casual alternative to more formal clutches. This elegant, casual clutch has also been one of their customer favorites.

This petite purse will please a wide range of personalities, so why not take one for mom and one for yourself and get 15% off with my code SUPERAGER15!

Hark + Hammer

Stretch silk charmeuse printed with bold, colorful artwork is cut and sewn into striking pieces in small, limited editions by this young L.A. luxury brand.

The satiny, curve skimming cloth lends a distinctive silhouette to the brand’s collections. Combined with the conspicuous prints, this makes for some very eye-catching outfits.

It’s perfect for their lounge sets. Their Instagram declares, “Inspired by sleepwear yet designed to turn heads, this is THE wardrobe essential for now AND later.”

If you are going to do loungewear, make it elevated!  Hark + Hammer’s silk pieces are so luxurious, and their effortless silhouettes are perfect for nights in or date night, days out, and everything in between. No one would ever think you were wearing your pajamas out of the house.

Marcia Moran

My collection with L.A.-based Brazilian jewelry designer Marcia Moran debuted last month. It was our third collaboration and contained nine pieces. It’s always exciting for me to get to be part of things like these, where I get to be part of a design process. You can check out more about this in my recent blog post.

You’ll see snakes, butterflies, and geometric forms make up the designs in this collection. Like many her pieces, they 18K gold-plated pieces use a brushed texture. This makes them a little bit different from what we might be used to seeing and adds to their appeal.

All of Marcia’s jewelry is handmade. As with Modus Rio, materials are sourced in Brazil and items are likewise made in the designer’s home country. But as she takes inspiration from the sunny, southern California lifestyle, she refers to her brand as having “California style with the soul of Brazil.”

Go ahead and treat Mom with an addition to her stylish jewelry collection. Get 15% off your purchase with ISABELLA15.

Jenny’s Bouquet Box

You know I love having fresh flowers in my home. So the idea of a monthly subscription box is brilliant to me! I mean, I pay as much if not more for beauty and fashion subscription boxes, so why not flowers which truly make me very happy? I have not been disappointed yet with the freshness, the quality, and the arrangements I get from Jameson’s Flowers.

Every month, Jenny a third-generation florist and current owner of the sixteen-year-old family business in Wichita Falls, Texas, designs a bouquet around a surprise color palette. It’s a fun and even educational occasion, since she tries to include lesser-known flowers with the seasonal blooms and slips in a little card that provides some information about each pick included in the box.

In addition, you also get a fun little gift in each box, like a scrunchie scarf or a colorful pair of earrings.

Why treat your mom just in May? Take 10% off with my code SUPERAGER10 to give your mom something fresh and bright to look forward to in every month!

A Happy Mother’s Day to all moms everywhere!!! And may we all cherish the years and memories we share with our moms!
