You might be noticing a pattern, but I love that Modus Rio is another woman-owned small business. The brand’s name translates as “Rio fashion,” is part of New York-based Brazilian designer Sara Taublib’s way of promoting Brazilian style in the international fashion scene. My collection with L.A.-based Brazilian jewelry designer Marcia Moran debuted last month. It was our third collaboration and contained nine pieces. It’s always exciting for me to get to be part of things like these, where I get to be part of a design process. You can check out more about this in my recent blog post.
